Andrew Duhaime, YBLTV Writer / Reviewer
When I was 13 years old, I moved from Michigan to Henderson, Nevada, where I have been ever since. Upon graduating High School in 2011, I began studying Psychology, and as I progressed through the degree program and completed numerous research papers and assignments in my classes, the more I began to enjoy writing, realizing it was my favorite part of college. Majoring in psychology has allowed me surpass my previous limitations of writing, and given me a better sense of articulation and communication that helps me convey my thoughts effectively. My goals are to be a writer, because I enjoy the idea of doing something I love that I also become better at the more I do. While attending school I also worked multiple food service jobs, sometimes two, depending on the semester workload. This has taught me the value of teamwork, time management, and outgoingness. This has also allowed me to become far better at verbal skills and sociability, which I believe to be valuable skill sets.
The topics I would like to focus on with YBLTV are consumer electronics and entertainment such as books and movies. I have spent a large amount of time learning and becoming proficient at using computers, which has helped me develop a good sense of understanding and love of technologies and innovations. I firmly believe that Virtual Reality technology is going to boom in the near future, which is where I would love to focus my reviewing on due to my intense fascination with it. I believe that I have many skills that aid in reviewing, such as being able to express exceptional verbal and written communication, my fast typing speed that ranges from 140-155 words per minute, and my passion for the consumer electronics industry. With my writing capability, I believe that I could contribute to the consumer electronics industry by providing readers with reviews that are enjoyable to read at the same time as informative about the product. I love to play around with the latest hardware and software, and look forward to sharing with you my two cents about what to buy and why. Follow me on Twitter and on LinkedIn.

Eric Sheffield, YBLTV Anchor / Writer
My name is Eric Sheffield and I was born in 1983 in Lakewood, New Jersey. Before the Garden State could have any profound effect on my development, my family moved to North Carolina. Thus, I spent my formative years in a small town on the coast named Morehead City that to this day remains one of the few remaining places on the East Coast virtually untouched by gentrification. Small town life almost forces one to be creative or else go mad with boredom. But by the end of high school, having reached the limits of creativity’s ability to save me from going insane, I hit the road and went directly to the other side of the country, landing in Santa Barbara, CA - literally drove coast to coast - there I went to school at the City College and wrote a prizewinning essay that was awarded and published in the College’s annual publication. It was then I cemented my desire to write for a living.
I transferred to the University of California, at Davis, obtained my Bachelor’s in English and moved right back down to Southern CA. I worked for Verizon and Bank of America but more importantly hiked over 31 major peaks and trails from LA to Gaviota north of Santa Barbara. I kept writing. Then, I was laid off by Bank of America and found that it was a blessing masquerading as a curse. I followed the fundamental spirit that drives me to the road once again and found myself in Las Vegas, NV which I believe is one of the last true American frontiers. I think I’ve found home, again.
